Salvaged floor installation

This set of tiles had been given to my client by a friend of theirs. They had sat in crates in their garden for several years. We were approached and asked if it was possible to install tiles such as these into their hallway.

The carpet was removed and the tiles were carefully installed. We were able to use all the available tiles, although the majority of the border was created using modern equivalents, hand cut to size.

Despite being exposed to the elements these robust tiles were cleaned after installation, sealed and polished.
