CLASSIC PORCH TILE DESIGNS.

Here for your reference are some examples of layouts for a porch area.

Black and white designs are commonly used in both interior and exterior spaces in the Victorian house. Also common is the raised porch step area. This is usually tiled to match or compliment the path design. Since the porch area is usually a much smaller area it is not always appropriate to use the exact same design as the path, as the layout tends to look cramped.

Here we see a typical black and white chequer board design with a diamond set border. The three designs listed below all compliment this design and are appropriate layouts for a small porch area.

1. Chequer board with a single black line to the extremity.

2. Chequer board with a two line border.

3. Chequer board with a diamond set border. This is the least appropriate as the chequer board is quite reduced in size.
